HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING PANEL: REMOVAL; 2013 MY FR-S [03/2012 -]

1. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

Removal

2. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH Removal

4. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH Removal

5. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 screws and disengage the 6 claws.





(b) Disconnect each connector and air conditioning control assembly.





(c) Disengage the 2 claws and the cable assembly (for RH side).





HINT
Setting the temperature adjustment dial to MAX HOT is useful when replacing the air conditioner unit assembly, and makes positioning easier when attaching cables.

(d) Disengage the 2 claws and the cable assembly (for LH side) and remove the air conditioning control assembly.

Setting the blower dial to FACE is useful when replacing the air conditioner unit assembly, and makes positioning easier when attaching cables.
