Installation






LIGHTING (EXT): STOP LIGHT SWITCH: INSTALLATION; 2013 MY FR-S [03/2012 -]

1. INSTALL STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Insert the stop light switch assembly until the threaded sleeve hits the pedal.





NOTICE:
When inserting the stop light switch assembly, support the pedal from behind so that the pedal is not pushed in.

(b) Pull up the brake pedal.





(c) Turn the stop light switch assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration and install it.

NOTICE:
When inserting the stop light switch assembly, support the pedal from behind so that the pedal is not pushed in.

(d) Check the protrusion of the plunger.

Protrusion of Plunger:

0.7 to 2.0 mm (0.027 to 0.078 in.)

(e) Connect the connector.
