LIGHTING (EXT): REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY: REASSEMBLY; 2013 MY FR-S [03/2012 -]

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

1. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 2 clamps to install the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.





(b) Connect the connector.





(c) Engage the clamp.

2. INSTALL REAR SIDE MARKER LIGHT BULB

(a) Install the side marker light bulb to the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.

(b) Turn the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly with the side marker light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to install them as a unit.





3. INSTALL REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

(a) Install the rear turn signal light bulb to the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.

(b) Turn the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly with the rear turn signal light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to install them as a unit.





4. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT GASKET LH

(a) Install a new rear combination light gasket LH.





HINT
* Be sure to remove all the traces of the old rear combination light gasket from the body.
* Do not reuse the removed packing. Be sure to install a new rear combination light gasket to prevent water ingress.
