Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

FA20 BATTERY / CHARGING: CHARGING SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR; 2013 MY FR-S [03/2012 -]

1. CHECK DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / DTC.

(e) Check the DTC(s), and then write them down.

(f) Check the details of the DTC(s) Charging System.

2. CLEAR DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / DTC.

(e) Clear the DTCs.
