Reassembly

TX6A AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: OIL PUMP: REASSEMBLY; 2013 MY FR-S [03/2012 -]

1. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP OIL SEAL

(a) Using SST and a hammer, install a new front oil pump oil seal.





SST : 09350-30020

09351-32140

Drive in depth:

-0.2 to 0.2 mm (-0.00787 to 0.00787 in.)

(b) Coat the lip of the front oil pump oil seal with MP grease.

2. FIX OIL PUMP ASSEMBLY

(a) Place the front oil pump body sub-assembly on the torque converter assembly.

3. INSTALL CLUTCH DRUM OIL SEAL RING

(a) Coat 3 new clutch drum oil seal rings with ATF.





(b) Squeeze the ends of the 3 clutch drum oil seal rings so that the gap distance becomes 8 mm (0.315 in.) or less, and then install them to the stator shaft groove.

NOTICE:
Do not expand the ring ends excessively.

HINT
After installing the clutch drum oil seal rings, check that they rotate smoothly.

4. INSPECT OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR ROTATION Oil Pump

5. INSTALL FRONT OIL PUMP BODY O-RING

(a) Coat a new front oil pump body O-ring with ATF and install it to the oil pump assembly.
