DESCRIPTION

When the shift lever is in M, it is possible to change into any gear using the shift lever assembly sequential gate.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH

(a) Disconnect the D28 transmission control switch connector.

(b) Perform inspection of the transmission control switch Shift Lever.

NG -- REPLACE TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH - TCM)

(a) Disconnect the A19 TCM connector.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





(c) Connect the A19 TCM connector.

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. REPLACE TCM

(a) Replace the TCM Removal.

NEXT -- PERFORM THE RESET MEMORY Programming and Relearning
