Removal






WIPER / WASHER: WIPER SWITCH: REMOVAL; 2013 MY FR-S [03/2012 -]

1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH Removal

2. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE METER HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL METER ORNAMENT Removal

5. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER

(a) While turning the steering wheel assembly to the right and left, remove the 2 screws.





(b) Disengage the 6 claws and remove the lower steering column cover.





7. REMOVE UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER

(a) Disengage the 2claws and remove the upper steering column cover.





8. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY









(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors.

(b) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the windshield wiper switch assembly, as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:
Do not press the claw too hard, as it may get damaged.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
