Caliper Replace

Fig. 1 Exploded view of front caliper assembly. 1984:

FRONT

1. Remove union bolt and disconnect brake hose from caliper assembly.
2. Remove brake pads as described under ``Brake Pads, Replace.''
3. Remove caliper assembly by pulling from support, Fig. 1.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Torque union bolt to 13 ft.lbs. and, if removed, support bolt to 36-51 ft.lbs. on all except Justy models, or 38-48 ft.lbs. on Justy. Also bleed brakes after installation.
