Accelerator Pump: Adjustments

1. Remove plug from accelerator pump gauge hole located on top of air horn.
2. Insert a suitable gauge into accelerator pump gauge hole, with gauge contacting top of accelerator pump stem.
3. Measure accelerator pump stem height at wide open throttle position and idle position with the engine stopped.
4. The difference between these two measurements should be .150 inch.
5. Adjust connector rod by bending lower leg to obtain reading.
6. Reinstall plug over gauge hole, then check metering rod lifter link screw adjustment.
