Air/Fuel Mixture: Adjustments

Connect a dwell meter to the Green/White wire in Check Connector ll (pink) . The check connector is located near the right hand strut tower. Set the meter on 4 cylinder scale and observe needle movement with the engine idling.
Dwell reading should move up and down in the 30 to 40 degree range. If not, run the engine to 2500 RPM for 2 minutes and recheck needle movement.
If dwell reading is not within specifications, adjust the idle mixture screw. Proper dwell readings after adjustment are 27-36 degrees.
