SUBJECT: A/C INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION MODIFICATION

Please be aware that an error exists in the installation instructions for the Hitachi A/C kit designed for 1986 Station Wagon, Sedan and 3-Door (SOA 332A103).

In the text and illustration in the installation instructions for the 1986 A/C kit (identifiable by a printing date of 9/1/85 on the installation instructions), you are instructed to mount the discharge hose mounting bracket under one of the three (3) nuts which retain the suspension strut assembly. This is incorrect. The proper mounting location is behind the ignition coil mounting bolt where the silencer (muffler) assembly was retained in 1985 Hitachi A/C kits for Station Wagon and Sedan. (See Figure 1).
