SUBJECT: TORSION SPRING TOOL P/N S0A443F400 UPDATE

REFER TO SERVICE BULLETIN NUMBER 14-09-84, DATED 11-20-84, FOR INFORMATION ON HOW TO PROPERLY USE THE TORSION SPRING TOOL

To prevent the torsion tool from contacting the rear seat frame on 4-Door Sedan models and increase the overall tool performance, the following update should be made:

^ Cut a section of either heater hose or equivalent, size 1/2" I.D. x 1" O.D. x 4.25".

FIGURE 1:

^ Install the section of hose over the spindle. See figure 1.
