SUBJECT: CRUISE CONTROL KIT SOA 386C104 APPLICATION TO 1988 VEHICLES
For 1988, the GL Station Wagon, Sedan and 3 Door Coupe have a redesigned horn pad which will not allow the 1987 Cruise Control Kit (SOA386C104) to carry over.
To use the SOA386C104 Cruise Control Kit on a 1988 GL Station Wagon, Sedan, or 3 Door Coupe, it is necessary to order a new Subaru Control switch (83151GA080). The remaining components carry over for application in the 1988 MY vehicle.
A copy of the revised installation instruction worksheet pertaining to the control switch is shown below and is included with the switch when ordered.
