Variable Induction Control Actuator: Locations
Induction Control Valve:
PURPOSE Controls operation of the induction control valve.
LOCATION On the L.H. side of the induction control valve (under the intake manifold).
OPERATION When vacuum is supplied to the diaphragm (from the ECU controlled solenoid), it over comes the internal spring. The diaphragm moves, which in turn opens the induction control valve via an actuator rod.
