Wiper Gear Box: Service and Repair

1. On models with airbags, disarm airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
2. On all models, remove wiper motor as outlined under WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR
3. Remove wiper link from motor. Use a suitable washer to depress four plastic retaining claws.
4. Remove motor to transmission retaining nut.
5. Remove transmission mounting bolts, then the transmission.
6. Reverse procedure to assemble.
