Ignition Timing: Adjustments
Because a distributorless ignition system is utilized,
ignition timing can be checked but cannot be adjusted.
1.
Warm up engine.
2.
Confirm that throttle sensor idle switch is "ON."
Timing Marks:

Connect a timing light to #1 spark plug wire and check timing.
Ignition Timing (BTDC):Non-Turbo models: 20° ± 8° @ 700 rpm
Turbo models: 15° ± 8° @ 700 rpm
