Pressure Relief Valve
3. PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE The pressure relief valve is mounted on the rear head of the compressor. When the pressure becomes abnormally high for some reason or other, the relief valve opens to discharge the
refrigerant for protection of the air-conditioning cycle parts. When the refrigerant is discharged and the pressure fails, the relief valve closes to stop discharging the refrigerant.
