Wiper Motor: Service and Repair

FRONT
1. On models with airbags, disarm airbag system as described under Technican Safety Information.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Remove weatherstrip and nets.
4. Disconnect wiper motor electrical connector.
5. Remove wiper motor attaching bolts.
6. Remove wiper motor link attaching nut, and separate link from motor.
7. Remove wiper motor from vehicle.
8. Reverse procedure to install.

REAR
1. On models with airbags, disarm airbag system as described under Technican Safety Information.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Remove back door inner trim.
4. Remove wiper arm from the shaft.
5. Disconnect wiper motor electrical connections.
6. Remove wiper motor retaining bolts and the motor.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
