Wiper Gear Box: Service and Repair

1. On models with airbags, disable airbag as described under Technican Safety Information.
2. Remove wiper motor as outlined under Wiper Motor.
3. Remove left side transmission mounting nuts, then separate left and right wiper links at center joint. To separate links pry with standard screwdriver inserted into service hole in front panel.
4. Remove right side transmission mounting nuts, right side transmission mounting nuts.
5. Remove wiper links from service holes in front panel.
6. Reverse procedure to install. To assemble wiper links, push using grip of screwdriver.
