Radiator: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery cables, then remove battery from vehicle.
2. Raise and support vehicle, then remove lower cover.
3. Drain engine coolant.

4. Disconnect radiator outlet hoses, then ATF cooler hoses, Fig. 73.
5. Lower vehicle.
6. Remove drive belt cover, then disconnect inlet hoses.
7. Remove reservoir tank and overflow hose.
8. Disconnect electrical connections from radiator main fan and sub fan if equipped.
9. Remove radiator upper brackets.
10. Remove radiator assembly.
11. Reverse procedure to install. Refill and bleed cooling system as outlined under Cooling System / Service and Repair.
