Cylinder Head Bolt Sequence





Intake Manifold





Gradually tighten the camshaft cap and oil control valve assembly in at least two stages in alphabetical sequence shown in the figure, and then tighten to specified torque

STD 0.017 - 0.045 mm (0.0007 - 0.0018 inch)
Limit 0.05 mm (0.0020 inch)
STD 0.03 mm (0.0012 inch) US
1.490 - 1.502 mm (0.587 - 0.591 inch)
1.504 - 1.512 mm (0.592 - 0.0595 inch)
Thickness at center portion
0.05 mm (0.0020 inch) US 1.514 - 1.522 mm (0.0596 - 0.0599 inch)
0.25 mm (0.0098 inch) US 1.614 - 1.622 mm (0.0635 - 0.0639 inch)





Crankshaft main bearing





Install the water pump and gasket.
Tightening torque:
First 12 Nm (1.2 kgf-cm, 8.7 ft. lbs.)
Second 12 Nm (1.2 kgf-cm, 8.7 ft. lbs.)

NOTE:
^ Be sure to use a new gasket.
^ When installing the water pump, tighten the bolts in two stages in alphabetical sequence as shown in the figure
