Side Airbag Sensor

REMOVAL
1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
2. Disconnect the ground cable from battery and wait for at least 20 seconds before starting work.
3. Remove the center pillar lower trim.




4. Remove the center pillar inner protector lower.
5. Remove the front outer seat belt retractor.




6. Remove the nut and disconnect the airbag connector to remove side airbag sensor.

INSTALLATION

CAUTION:
- Do not reuse the bolt and nut.
- Always use new bolts and nuts for them.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Tightening torque: 7.4 N.m (0.75 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
