Direct Clutch
CONSTRUCTIONThe direct clutch consists of a direct clutch piston, retainer spring, drive plates, driven plates, and a retaining plate.
This clutch engages to connect the rear carrier and rear sun gear in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th speeds. (The direct clutch cannot be disassembled.)
