Overhaul
SWITCH BACK GATEDISASSEMBLY
1. Remove switch back gate.
2. Remove switch back gate inner cover.
3. Remove switch back gate handle and striker.
ASSEMBLY
Install in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
- Install striker with marked portion facing vehicle front.
- There are left/right indicating marks on the switch back gate hinge.When installing, do not mistake the direction.
Tightening torque:
Release lever: 7.5 N.m (0.76 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
Striker: 18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13 ft-lb)
