Torque Specification

Cylinder Head Bolts





Tighten all bolts 29 Nm (3.0 kgf-m, 21.4 ft. lbs.)
Further tighten all bolts 69 Nm (7.0 kgf-m, 50.9 ft. lbs.)
Loosen all the bolts in the reverse order 180°
loosen them further 180°.
Tighten all bolts 49 Nm (5.0 kgf-m, 36.1 ft. lbs.)
Tighten all bolts 80 to 90°
Tighten all bolts 40 to 45°
Further tighten the bolts (A) and (B) 40-45°

Cam Shaft Bearing Caps





Gradually tighten the camshaft cap in at least two steps, in alphabetical order

Connecting Rod Cap Bolt 52 Nm (38.4 ft. lb.)

Crank Pulley 180 N�m (18.4 kgf-m, 132.8 ft-lb)

Oil Pump 6.4 Nm (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft. lbs.)
