Removal and Replacement

Generator

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.






2. Remove the collector cover. (Turbo model)
3. Remove the collector cover cover bracket. (Turbo model)






4. Remove the V-belt covers. (Non-turbo model)






5. Disconnect the connector and terminal from generator.






6. Remove the front side belts.
7. Remove the bolts which install the generator onto bracket.






INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Tightening torque: 25 N.m (2.5 kgf.m, 18.4 ft.lb)

CAUTION: Check and adjust the front side belt tension.
