Cylinder Head Assembly: Specifications

Cylinder head bolts.
Tighten all bolts 29 N-m (3.0 kgf-m, 21.4 ft-lb)
Tighten all bolts 69 N-m (7.0 kgf-m, 50.9 ft-lb)
In the reverse order:
Loosen all the bolts 180°
Loosen them further 180°.
Tighten all bolts 42 N-m (4.3 kgf-m, 31.0 ft-lb)
Tighten all bolts 80 to 90°
Tighten all bolts 40 to 45°
Further tighten bolts (a) and (b) by 40 - 45°





Cylinder head
Surface warpage limit (Mating surface with cylinder block) 0.035 mm (0.0014 in)
Grinding limit 0.1 mm (0.004 in)
Standard height 97.5(3.84 in)

Camshaft caps
Temporarily tighten the bolts (a) through (d)





Tighten the TORX bolts through (j) 18 N-m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)





Bolts (k) through (r) 9.75 N-m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.2 ft-lb)





Bolts (s) and (t) 9.75 N-m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.2 ft-lb)





CAM SPROCKET 78 N-m (8.0 kgf-m, 57.5 ft-lb)
