SUBJECT: Remanufactured Turbo Long Blocks

INTRODUCTION

Subaru of America, Inc is making available remanufactured 2.5L Turbo Long Blocks. The remanufactured long blocks are only available for the vehicles listed above as a replacement if the original engine experiences a connecting-rod bearing failure. Any other failure will not qualify under the remanufactured turbo long block program. A TechLine authorization is required for all long block replacements. Please read this bulletin in its entirety to become familiar with the requirements and procedures.
