INSPECTION

1. CHECK SYSTEM






NOTE: Wiper deicer system can be customized on the center display touch screen or on the Subaru Select Monitor.







*: When one of the following conditions occurs, continuous operation is suspended and turned off after 15 min.

- Ambient temperature at 5 degrees C (41 degrees F) or more continues for 10 seconds
- A/C ECO mode ON continues for 10 sec.
- Malfunction occurs on ambient sensor.
- Vehicle speed below 15 km/h (9 MPH) continues 15 min.
- Malfunction occurs in CAN communication.

2. HEAT WIRE INSPECTION
Refer to "HEAT WIRE INSPECTION" of "Rear Window Defogger System".

NOTE: For heat wire inspection needs removing/installing procedure of instrument panel assembly.
