DTC C0071 (Steering Angle Sensor Output)

INTRODUCTION

We have seen an increasing amount of claims submitted for steering angle sensors afier steering roll connector replacement. There is a possibility that the steering angle sensor was not positioned correctly during the time of the repair.

In lieu of replacing the steering angle sensor, follow the repair procedure listed to insure that the steering angle sensor is positioned correctly.

As a reminder, a shop comeback is frustrating, detrimental to customer satisfaction and not a matter for warranty.
