Removal and Replacement

GENERATOR

TURBO MODEL
1. Remove the collector cover.
2. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.






3. Remove the collector cover bracket.






4. Disconnect connector (A) and terminal (B) from generator.






5. Remove the front side belts.
6. Remove the generator from the bracket.






INSTALLATION

TURBO MODEL

CAUTION: Check and adjust the front side belt tension.

1. Install the generator to the bracket.

Tightening torque:
T1: 22 N.m (2.2 kgf.m, 16.2 ft.lb)
T2: 25 N.m (2.5 kgf.m, 18.4 ft.lb)






2. Install the front side belt.
3. Connect the connector (A) and terminal (B) to the generator.

Tightening torque: 16 N.m (1.6 kgf.m, 11.8 ft.lb)






4. Install the collector cover bracket.

Tightening torque:
T1: 8.5 N.m (0.9 kgf.m, 6.3 ft.lb)
T2: 25 N.m (2.5 kgf.m, 18.4 ft.lb)






5. Connect the battery ground terminal.






6. Install the collector cover.
