Engine Controls - Erroneous DTC P0108 Set

SUBJECT:
DTC P0108 (Manifold Absolute Pressure/
Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input)
INTRODUCTION
There is a possibility that P0108 can be erroneously stored in memory when the starter motor is stopped before the engine starts completely. This can occur if the ignition key is released before the engine fully starts or if the clutch pedal is released before the engine fully starts If you determine that the code was set in error, new ECM reprogramming tiles are now available to prevent a recurrence of the condition.
COUNTERMEASURE IN PRODUCTION
The new logic was introduced in production on August 3, 2011 starting with VIN B*782579
NOTE:
LCM reprogramming files were sent to all SDS users in the October 2011 SSMIII Update version 128.427.
