EGR Valve: Service and Repair
EGR Control ValveREMOVAL 1.
Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
2.
Remove the air intake boot.
3.
Disconnect the connector from the EGR control valve.
4.
Remove the EGR control valve from the water pipe assembly.
INSTALLATIONInstall in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: Use new O-rings and gaskets.
Tightening torque: 22 N.m (2.2 kgf.m, 16.2 ft.lb)
