Intake Duct

INTAKE DUCT

REMOVAL

1. Remove the collector cover.
2. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.






3. Remove the intake manifold.
4. Remove the sensor, engine harness and fuel pipe from the intake manifold.
5. Remove the intake duct from intake manifold.






6. Remove the PCV hose assembly from the intake duct.

NOTE: Pinch the clamp of the PCV hose assembly by fitting the cut out in the ST with the protrusion on the clamp as shown in the figure, and unlock the clamp.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the PCV hose assembly onto the intake duct.

NOTE: Use a new clamp for the PCV hose assembly, fit the cut out in the ST with the protrusion on the clamp as shown in the figure, and lock the clamp.

2. Install the intake duct to the intake manifold.

Tightening torque: 17 N.m (1.7 kgf-m, 12.5 ft-lb)






3. Install the sensor, engine harness and fuel pipe to the intake manifold.
4. Install the intake manifold.
5. Connect the battery ground terminal.






6. Install the collector cover.
