1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove main relay from main fuse box, Fig. 73.

2. Check resistance between each two terminals as shown in Fig. 74.
3. Resistance between A and B terminals should be infinity. Resistance between C and D terminals should be 56--84 ohms.
4. Check there is continuity between terminals A and B when battery is connected to terminals C and D.
5. If any of above tests are not satisfactory, replace main relay.
