Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery negative cable at battery.

2. Disconnect coupler from ATS.

3. Remove ATS and gasket from air cleaner case.

INSTALLATION
Reverse removal procedure noting the following.
^ Clean mating surfaces of ATS and air cleaner case.
^ Tighten ATS to specified torque.

TORQUE VALUE
13 - 17 N-m (1.3 - 1.7 kg-m, 9.5 - 12.0 lb-ft)

^ Connect ATS coupler securely.
