Air Bag Control Module: Testing and Inspection

CAUTION: Do not connect a tester whatever type it may be. Never repair or disassemble SDM. If SDM was dropped from a height of 91.4 cm (3 ft) or more, it should be replaced.

1. Check SDM and its bracket for dents, cracks or deformation.
2. Check SDM connector or lock mechanism for damage or cracks.
3. Check SDM terminal for bent, corrosion or rust.
If any faulty condition is found in above checks, replace.
