Ignition Cable: Testing and Inspection
Measure resistance of high-tension cord by using ohmmeter.
High-tension cord resistance:
4 - 10 kOhms./m (1.2 - 3.0 kOhms./ft)Check for damage, deterioration and terminal corrosion.
If check result is not satisfactory, replace high-tension cord(s).
