Ignition Switch: Testing and Inspection
IGNITION (MAIN) SWITCH 1.
Disconnect negative cable at battery.
2.
Disable air bag system. Refer to "DISABLING AIR BAG SYSTEM".
3.
Disconnect main switch lead wire connectors from junction/fuse block and air bag harness.
CHECKING CONTINUITY BETWEEN TERMINALSUse a circuit tester to check the continuity at each switch position.
If any continuity is not obtained, replace main switch.
