Heater Controller

Removal
1. Disconnect negative (-) cable at battery.
2. Remove steering column hole cover and glove box.




3. Remove center lower garnish (1) and then disconnect rear defogger switch connector and fog lamp switch connector (if equipped) respectively.




4. Disconnect air flow selector cable (1) and temperature selector cable (2).




5. Remove heater controller (1) from instrument panel, then disconnect related connector.

Installation
Reverse removal procedure to install heater controller noting the following instructions.
- Adjust the following items.




1. Set air flow selector (1) and temperature selector (2) as shown in figure.
2. Push air flow selector link (1) and temperature selector link (2) fully in arrow direction.




3. Fix air flow selector cable (3) and temperature selector cable (4) with clamp in position as shown in figure.

NOTE: After installing selector cables, be sure that air flow selector and temperature selector move smoothly and stop at proper position.
