Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

A/C Refrigerant Pressure Switch

Removal
1. Disconnect negative cable at battery.
2. Disconnect A/C refrigerant pressure switch connector (1).
3. Remove A/C refrigerant pressure switch (2) from refrigerant pipe.

CAUTION: Be careful to distort refrigerant pipe.

Installation
Reverse removal procedure to install A/C refrigerant pressure switch noting the following instruction.
- Tighten A/C refrigerant pressure switch as specified torque.




Tightening Torque
A/C refrigerant pressure switch (a): 11 N.m (1.1 kg-m, 8.0 lb-ft)
