Centermember Assembly Removal and Installation

Removal
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
2. Remove the dust cover from the under body of the vehicle.





3. Remove the power steering pipe fixing bolts.





4. Remove the centermember front damping block bolt and rear damping block bolt.

WARNING: When removing the centermember bolt, the engine assembly should be supported by jack stands, in advance. Failure to support the centermember properly can result in person injury. In addition, remove the centermember bolt with caution when the exhaust pipe is hot.





5. Remove the centermember bolts and remove the centermember assembly.


Installation





1. Install the centermember assembly and bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the centermember bolts to 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.).





2. Install the centermember front damping block bolt and rear damping block bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the centermember front damping block bolt and rear damping block bolt to 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.).
