Intelligent Switching Unit (ISU) Removal and Installation

Intelligent Switching Unit (ISU) Removal

1. Disconnect the negative battery connector.
2. Remove the instrument panel under cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Removal.




3. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Driver's Side Knee Bolster Removal.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
5. Remove the nuts securing the Intelligent Switching Unit (ISU).




6. Remove the Intelligent Switching Unit (ISU).

Intelligent Switching Unit (ISU) Installation

1. Install the ISU with the nuts.




2. Connect the electrical connectors.
3. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Driver's Side Knee Bolster Installation.
4. Install the instrument panel under cover, Refer to Instrument Panel Installation.




5. Connect the negative battery connector.
