Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Removal and Installation




Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Removal

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the EGR valve wiring harness connector.
3. Remove the EGR valve.
4. Remove the EGR valve gasket.




Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Installation

1. Installation should follow the removal procedure in the reverse order.
2. Install the EGR valve.

Tighten: Tighten the EGR valve retaining bolts to 20 ~ 30 N.m (15 ~ 22 lb.ft).
