Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Remove battery.
2. Disconnect connector from CKP sensor (1).
3. Remove CKP sensor from transmission case (2).

INSTALLATION

Reverse removal procedure noting the following.
- Tighten CKP sensor bolt to specified torque.

Tightening torque
CKP sensor bolt (a): 11 N.m (1.1 kg.m, 8.0 lbf.ft)

- Connect connector to CKP sensor securely.
