Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection
Evaporator Temperature Sensor Inspection 1.
Measure resistance between terminals of evaporator temperature sensor.

Check that the resistance decreases as temperature rises as shown.
If check result is not as specified, replace evaporator temperature sensor.
Evaporator temperature sensor resistance0 °C (32 °F): 6.65 - 6.84 kOhms
25 °C (77 °F): 2.00 - 2.14 kOhms
