High Mount Stop Light Removal and Installation

Removal
1. Remove trunk lid trim.
2. Remove rear spoiler (if equipped).
3. Disconnect high mount stop light connector.
4. Remove high mount stop light nuts (1), and remove high mount stop light holder (2) and high mount stop light (3).

NOTE: Remove gasket remaining on trunk lid after removing high mount stop light.







Installation

CAUTION: Reinstalling high mount stop light with missing or damaged gasket (1) may cause water leakage. Replace light having defective gasket with new one.







Reverse removal procedure noting the following point.
- Tighten high mount stop light nuts to specified torque.

Tightening torque
High mount stop light nut (a): 6.0 N.m (0.61 kg-m, 4.5 lbf-ft)
