Precautions For Working On Power WindowWARNING: Make sure not to pinch part of your body such as hand or arm during checking power window.
CAUTION:
- Do not apply large impact to power window regulator assembly by dropping it, etc.
- Make sure to initialize power window system (memorizing fully closed position of door glass) when parts related with window such as regulator assembly are replaced as position of door glass is memorized in ECU in power window motor. Auto operation and pinching protection operation will not work correctly without initializing power window setup.
- Do not pinch any object during initialization of power window. Avoid contact of hammer handle on door visor by placing the hammer handle from inside of vehicle when checking pinching protection function on a vehicle equipped with door visor.
