Precautions for Diagnosing Trouble

NOTE:

When diagnosing vehicle kept indoors, an incandescent light must be shining down on the sunload sensor from directly above it.

Otherwise, DTC is indicated even if sunload sensor is normal.

- Before using scan tool, read its "Operator's (Instruction) Manual" to know how to use it.
- After troubleshooting, DTC can be stored in HVAC control module memory as history DTC.
- Be sure to clear all DTCs after completing troubleshooting.
