Expansion Valve: Service and Repair

Fig. 1 Thermistor Removal.:

1. Remove evaporator assembly from vehicle.
2. Unscrew tapping screws and remove thermistor, Fig. 1.
3. Open case clamps and remove lower case. Remove upper case screws and separate upper case from evaporator.
4. Remove clamp and heat insulator from outlet tube.
5. Remove liquid line tube from expansion valve and expansion valve from inlet tube.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
